How to Order Your Bay Window Pole and Fittings On-line

Before you read this tutorial, please go to the measuring page to work out the length of pole you require, and the number of bends.

When you have completed your purchase you will be taken to a new page which requires additional measurements in order for us to manufacture your bespoke pole, this section must be completed.

Once you have read this tutorial click on the order now button at the bottom of the page, then you will be seamlessly taken through the following steps:

1. On the poles page, you will be asked to select the pole diameter and finish and to enter the pole length (in cm),
Select the add to cart button. From your cart page select the continue shopping button.

2. On the bends page, enter the number of bends and add to cart. From your cart page select the continue shopping button.

3. On the brackets page, enter the number and type you require (see notes below) and add to cart. From your cart page select the continue shopping button.

4. On the centre joining bracket page, select the matching joining bracket and add to cart.
From your cart page select the continue shopping button.

5. On the finials page, select the finials you require and add to cart. From your cart page select the continue shopping button

6. On the open rings page, select the number you require and add to cart. From your cart page select the
continue shopping button.

7. On the closed rings page, select the number you require and add to cart.

8. If you have items you do not require, or incorrect quantities you can amend them on your shopping cart page and select the update cart button

9. Review your summary and proceed to checkout.

NOTES

A. Brackets: to fit a bay pole where there are no fixing complications, you will normally need
1. 4 x standard wall brackets
2. 1 x standard centre joining bracket
For a very large bay, you will need 6 x standard wall brackets

B. The cranked Wall bracket is for fixing close to, or right up to the ceiling

C. Ceiling brackets are for when there is no way of fixing to the wall, and for shower rails etc.

D. A joining bracket is required for 16mm poles over 120cm, and 25mm poles over 200cm

E. Open rings: you will need: 3 per 30cm for light weight curtains, 4 per 30cm for full heavyweight curtains.

F. Full rings: you will normally need 2 full rings, these hold the curtains at each end by the finial

G. For full length curtains, when ordering over sill brackets, select the appropriate size from the drop down menu

H. A standard delivery charge of £16 will be applied to all orders to mainland UK Addresses.
Delivery to the Highlands and Islands will vary. You will be invoiced for any additional delivery charges prior to shipping, (if you would like to know what this charge would be, email to orders@millhousesforge.co.uk stating your postcode).. Goods will not be shipped until any additional shipping costs have been paid.
